 8/17/2011 | | "Best Beach Wedding Venue In L.A.!", An Eventective User from Palm Desert, CA | | My husband and I were married here at the Sunset Restaurant in Malibu, CA on July 7, 2011. This venue was so perfect for us that we did not even bother to look anywhere else. It fit well within our budget for our small, 20 person wedding, and the services they provided us were indeed priceless. The events staff was friendly and accommodating, understanding the somewhat non-traditional ceremony and reception timelines and setups that my fiance had chosen. It is said that Zuma Beach, which is the beach that the Sunset Restaurant is the only truly Western facing beach in Los Angeles, which is perfect for getting those amazing views of the sun sinking into the ocean for mid- or post-ceremony picture opportunities. The all inclusive package they offer gets you access to the beach, chairs and an aisle runner, the reception food, the reception room, and there is a myriad of add-ons one can choose from with regards to food and alcohol options. The pricing is conveniently based on a 'per-person' amount, so for our small wedding, this option was ideal. Planning my wedding myself, the all-inclusive package made it very simple for me, as all I really had to do was get the dress, flowers, cake and DJ. Everything else was covered in the package. Overall, this place was truly amazing and I am completely happy with my choice. Our sunset beach wedding was exactly the way both my husband and I had dreamed that it would be. |
