The Jungle is the event space located in the rear of the store. It is a 2,100 square foot area that was once a nursery. The Fishtail Palm Trees that were once raised here grew through their pots, rooting themselves into place and creating a unique, secluded paradise. Renters are free to decorate however they choose, and hire catering and bartending services. A stone-tiled area doubles as a dance floor. The parking lot behind Dutton’s Bookstore is also available for use by guests. It is a true gem among the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles.
