 8/11/2011 | | "Great Place to Celebrate", An Eventective User from Anaheim, CA | | The University Club is a great place to celebrate. Hidden in the campus of the University of California Irvine is a nice banquet facility that also has beautiful grounds for outdoor events. It is very welcoming and has a full banquet room, a library room that you can use for cocktail hour and beautiful double doors that open out into a green plush grass area with gazebo's. The food is also delicious and a very affordable price and can be catered to your personal taste and requests. The service is also very helpful and always very friendly. Plenty of room for a live band or a DJ and at night it creates a very cozy atmosphere when you use candles as your centerpieces. Also very nice for holiday events. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for something a little different. |
| 8/15/2011 | | "Party in Style", An Eventective User from Dana Point, CA | | The University Club in Irvine is located on the UCI campus. Unlike a lot of party venues, this palce has panoramic windows, can be configured to meet your needs and has plenty of space. It also has a seperate room for a pre-gathering. The grounds surrounding the hall are beautiful as well. The catering is very good, reasonably-priced and offers a very good selection. The University Club is centrally located and is easy to get to for just about anyone in Orange County. There is also a pretty gazeebo on the property that can be used for your event. The staff at the University Club are very accomodating and pleasant. I believe if you are an alumni of the UC system there is also some sort of price discount. |
