About Fresno Chaffee Zoo
The Zoo is a great location for corporate parties and group events of all kinds. Our Events Department is trained to take you through all the planning stages to ensure that you have a successful and memorable event, whether it is a casual picnic or a black-tie affair.
Each event has the option of full-service catering, formal or casual setup, and optional Wild Activities including Stingray Bay, Winged Wonders Bird Show, and giraffe feeding. Several different venues are available to rent throughout the Zoo, each with its own unique atmosphere and seating capacity. Every event is customized to meet your needs and is sure to be a crowd pleaser!

Zoo Wedding was Perfect

My sister loves the Zoo so it was the perfect choice for her wedding. What surprised us was the low price, the beauty of the setting, and the above and beyond excellence of the zoo staff and the service providers they recommended to us. We held the wedding on the Rain Forest Lawn. It was just right for our group of 60. Although we were in the zoo, we decorated with the normal elegant wedding style in mind. The end result was breath-taking and the guests were quite impressed. I'm sorry I don't have pictures to share; they aren't back from the photographer yet. But I would recommend this setting for a wedding to anyone.
