A long time Valley favorite, the Selland Arena was built in 1966 and for years was the only major concert venue in the region. The Selland’s impressive history includes hosting some of the greatest names in sports and entertainment, including; Elvis, Tina Turner, Elton John, Garth Brooks, Cher, Vicente Fernandez, Harlem Globetrotters, HBO Boxing, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ringling Bros & Barnum and Bailey Circus and Disney on Ice. With the more than $13 million in renovations the Selland Arena is now the most user friendly and comfortable arena in the Central Valley and ready for a new generation of fans. The Selland Arena is managed by SMG, the world’s largest private manager of public assembly facilities.
