Greatest day of our lives - An Eventective User from Georgia

What a year 2020 has been not only for myself but for all Brides who had spent days or years planning their perfect day as I did. After looking at venues and whatnot for our wedding we decided to have a destination wedding in Maui instead. Well, after MONTHS of planning, searching for everything we wanted to have, to coordinating it even though we had hired a wedding planner we did all of the work. Then the world came to a screeching halt. As our date grew near, we determined Maui was out of the question and if we were still getting married in 2020, we needed to start searching locally. Let me preface this by saying I AM THAT PERSON…100% control freak, bridezilla on steroids, perfectionist, sadist – I mean you name it and it would probably fit. I do not relinquish control and certainly would not leave it up to anyone to plan the most important day of our lives! So, we started searching… in the wee hours of the morning I stumbled across Terri’s website. I had been searching for the ultimate location and discovered Alstrom Pointe @ Lake Powell and just fell in love. So, I decided on whim to reach out to Terri. I can tell you from the very first conversation I knew I had found the one person who would take our vision and execute it. Little did I know what was coming. Terri had been out scouting locations and agreed to find Alstrom Point on her trek back home. As I waited in anticipation I finally got “the email” I had hoping to find in my inbox. The location is beautiful, and she even sent me a picture of the sunrise. I knew in that moment Terri would be handling our wedding. From start to finishTerri and her team made everything so incredibly easy. Terri, Sarahkay & Bradley were available for the ENDLESS questions I had and ideas I came up with since we had 100% planned a beach wedding. I mean who knew – beach for months to suddenly the desert in Big Water, Utah…every vision I had went out the window. We started out with a facetime meeting to “meet” each other and get a feel of what exactly we were looking for. We chose the less is more approach – even my dress was of simple bohemian design as we did not want to take away from our surroundings. The more we communicated with Terri and her team I came to the decision to see what they envisioned and let me tell you we did not fully realize that Terri and her team are true visionaries. Terri came up with the idea of a “Glamping Wedding” in the middle of the desert. I’ll admit at first, I was skeptical and thought she had lost her mind (insert psyco killing here) and when she would send me picture of ideas I at times, I wondered…OH WHAT HAVE I DONE?? When she told me we would need to rent a jeep there to get to the location I really got concerned that I had lost my noodle for hiring her and her team. Let me say this. IT WAS THE BEST DECISION OF OUR LIVES!!! We’d chose her and her team over and over again. We met the day of the ceremony and let me tell you – unconventional would be a
