 5/1/2012 | | "Excellent Conference & Meeting Venue", An Eventective User from Milwaukee, WI | | The Wild Horse Pass hotel and casino is probably one of the best conference venues I've ever experienced in Arizona. The conference halls are all state of the art and ready for even the most high-tech of enterprises. I was there for a conference sponsored by IBM and the customer service provided by the dedicated staff made the event a grand success. The catered meals were exceptionally prepared and delivered with grace. The comfortable and pleasant environment practically made it more of a vacation than work and the opportunities for networking exceeded my expectations. Everywhere I turned I could interact with professionals... whether it be the impressive golf course or the lively casino. Also, if one is travelling with the family or significant others, it is a wonderful place for kids to enjoy themselves. The pool is impeccable and there are sufficient outdoor, self-directed activities as well as planned excursions. The location is beautiful, with and abundance of wonderful sunsets and the natural landscape of Arizona abounds. It is easily reached from the airport and is close to other diversions like professional baseball and basketball locales. Let's say one needs to visit the more business centric parts of the metro area, the location is well-suited for travelling quickly to the major business centers and return to a very relaxing environment to rejuventate oneself for the next round the following day. I typically have a very hard time sleeping anywhere that is not home, but I can honestly say that I slept like a rock every day I was there and that's as close to sleeping at home as I've ever gotten anywhere else. If I had a choice for scheduling conferences or any other type of business engagement in the Phoenix metro area... I would schedule them all at Wild Horse Pass. |
