Operating since 2007, A.M. Booth's Lumberyard is primarily an outdoor venue with over 14,000 sq. ft. of stunning views, first class service, and a friendly environment to ensure an authentic Alabama experience. Accommodating up to 675 people The Lumberyard has a 30x25 sq. ft. covered raised stage with an attached 600 sq. ft. V.I.P. suite on the 2nd floor offering two private bathrooms and a compact kitchenette overlooking the main courtyard with a 1924 Pullman car.
Also adjacent to the stage is a 360 sq. ft. room often used as a dessert station. Both rooms on either side of the stage are equipped with HVAC. Across Booth's Alley from the dessert room is a 2200 sq. ft. covered area often used for buffet service, game area and/or sponsor promotion booths. A pool table, shuffleboard and other games are included in this protected area. The Alley’s overhead grapevine arbor with string lights provides seating and shade on warm summer days. Stoll along the historic sheds from the Alley and you’ll reach the 22ft wide gated service entrance, offering easy access for loading and unloading.
The main entrance hallway cozies up to a local pub and restaurant both open 7 days a week. The 800 sq. ft. “gallery” used often as the guest greeting center is the 100 year old facade of a Twickingham historic home, bay windows act as display cases alongside other fun antiquities. The Gallery Garage leads to the all-weather 1800 sq. ft. Veranda *, providing a full service bar complimented with ceiling fans and a misting system to beat the midday heat. The house music system with wireless microphones broadcasts throughout the Lumberyard.
The main courtyard is also capable of accommodating a 60ft. x 30ft. tent to extend all weather use throughout. With abundant parking, bordered by four city parks, the central location provides easy access to the interstate and free public trolley can shuttle guests to hotels or other downtown nightlife. From fans to fire pits, umbrellas to shuffleboard, fountains to flowers; the historic A.M. Booth’s Lumberyard is revered by many as one of the more accommodating outdoor offerings in North Alabama. The courtyard’s undisturbed view of eclectic antiquity inspires many visitors to liken the Lumberyard to the back lot of a movie set. Because once inside, guests are transported into a very private and often memorable experience.

- Brandon and Stephanie Williams Wedding
- This was a wedding we had on the rainiest day of the year, You can see it clearly did not affect the festivities. The fun continued late into the wee hours of the night. They are a beautiful couple and were so glad we were able to be a part of their special day.
- Lumberyard Fountain
- You will be welcomed by this beautiful fountain as soon as you enter our venue.
- Business Solutions Series: Park Place Plaza
- Though a bit dated, I wanted to share this video with you because it does show some great footage of A.M. Booth's Lumberyard. Since this video was taken, we have done some improvements here and there that make this venue a really fun place to be.
