About Orange Art Gallery
We are located in a historic building in the trendy City Centre area close to the ART IS IN boulangerie. The gallery offers a unique venue space to host weddings and receptions, birthday/anniversary parties and corporate functions . The main floor is 2500 sqft and the lower level is the same. We have preserved the original architecture of the building which was once the bank for CN rail 100 yrs ago. The ceilings are 12ft high on the main level with lots of large windows which flood the gallery with natural light. The beautiful floors are dark wide plank boards which give a beautiful ambiance to the space. Also there are surround sound speakers in the main salon. Your caterer will love the large kitchen located in the lower level. The walls are always decorated with beautiful art so you do not need much in the way of decoration for your special event. We also offer a selection of tables, tableclothes, chairs and wine glasses for your complimentary use. There is plenty of free parking for your guests.

Beautiful site and friendly staff, An Eventective User from Ottawa Ontario

We held our marriage ceremony at the Orange Art Gallery located at 233 Armstrong in Ottawa. The fee we paid to reserve the venue was quite reasonable. As part of the package they provided enough chairs for our guests as well as additional tables for hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The owners were very friendly and accommodating throughout the process. They did not hesitate to close the gallery for our ceremony which was during their regular business hours. The gallery itself is beautiful and open with lots of large windows and ample natural light. We had approximately sixty guests in attendance but there is enough space for at least twice as many people to fit comfortably inside. The art pieces provided a beautiful and unique backdrop for our day and for our photographs. Since we spent some of our early dates looking at exhibitions, it was a perfectly fitting venue for us. The gallery does not have a parking lot but there is ample street parking in the area. It is not wheelchair accessible but there were only four or five stairs so even our elderly guests did not have a difficult time negotiating the venue. We received excellent and friendly service from the owners both during the planning and on the day of our wedding. Overall we felt we received way more than we paid for with the Orange Art Gallery as our venue.
