Distinctive and Unique!
We can offer groups of 5 to 140 persons a variety of accommodation and meeting options. Four distinct buildings each with their own meeting rooms and accommodations. The CTMC Building has 36 doubles / 72 beds / 36 bedrooms, The Lodge has 7 doubles / 6 singles / 20 beds / 13 bedrooms, Bayview Place has 16 doubles / 8 singles / 40 beds / 24 bedrooms and Foster House has 2 doubles / 4 singles / 8 beds / 6 bedrooms for a total of 61 dble rooms / 18 sgle rooms / 140 beds / 79 bedrooms. Kempenfelt has a total of 21 meeting and seminar/breakout rooms plus Centre Hall which seats up to 180 theatre-style.
Team Building? Try our Outdoor Challenge Course!
An excellent addition to any program our self-directed 7-station low impact course takes approximately 1 1/2 hrs to complete and is accessible May 1 to October 31, weather permitting. Each station encourages participation, cooperation and fun and will enhance individual awareness of group dynamics, decision-making, communication, leadership and followship skills.
All Work and No Play? No Way!
Located on the shores of beautiful Kempenfelt Bay, guests can swim or take a cruise in our paddleboats. Bonfires on the beach can also be the perfect end to a perfect day. Other activities include tennis, badminton, golf driving nets, horseshoes, basketball, baseball, soccer and sand volleyball. Mountain bicycles are also available to take a ride in our quiet rural setting. Within a short drive from the Centre, golfers can enjoy one of the several top rated golf courses including the adjacent 9-hole Allandale Golf Course (Stanley Thompson design) or the 18-hole Harbourview, Tangle Creek and Innisbrook courses. In the winter season, guests can enjoy quiet snowy walks or they can visit one of the many cross country or alpine ski resorts in the area.
An easy 40 minute drive from Toronto City Limits and/or Pearson Airport, a world away from the distractions of big city hotels and yet so very close. And don't forget to include the big savings in mileage and travel time between us and those resort hotels up north (we’re an HOUR closer than Muskoka!).

 2/28/2012 | | "Excellent Wedding venue", An Eventective User from St. Thomas | Having acommodation on site was a definite plus for the wedding guests, most of whom drove great distances to attend the outdoor wedding ceremony. The site for the ceremony was at the pad overlooking the bay. The staff put out the white chairs for the guests and the area was decorated beautifully by RG Wedding and Event Planners from St. Thomas Ontario. Just up the slope above the pad was the cabin where the wedding party dressed and the honeymoon suite would be later in the evening - it was a perfect day - sunny and not too hot. The boaters politely stopped their engines and waited for the ceremony to be finished before going on their way. The patio and surrounding grassy area made for a lovely coctail reception while pictures were being taken. The Hall set-up and decor, by RG Wedding Wedding Planners, turned the hall into a Grand Ballroom. The dinner was amazing and the staff very friendly and acommodating. A lovely breakfast was available the next morning for the overnight guests, and a late checkout gave the planners time to remove the decor before leaving. This is a venue that I would recommend to anyone who is having a wedding or other function in the Barrie area. |
