JR was born in Fort Erie Ontario, and has been engaged with music since his early teenage years, playing the guitar & singing. He formed many three & five piece bands over the years. Between semesters, they toured Ontario, performing nightly in lounges to pay for college.
JR has written a few songs over the years for friends and business functions.
After a successful career in the Oil and Gas industry in Alberta Canada, JR retired from the corporate world, and now lives on Vancouver Island, President of JRH Business Investments.
