While you start your wedding day with a relaxing spa treatment, your guests can enjoy a walk through the old growth cedar forest, discovering our rare 800 year old cedar trees. Following the ceremony, enjoy hors-d’oeuvres and champagne on our patio to celebrate the occasion. Our culinary team will create an unforgettable 3 course Wedding Dinner, using organic meats & fresh local produce whenever possible. Finish the evening dancing in the Bear Lodge. Wake up to the smell of fresh baked pastries and steaming coffee and enjoy the sun on our peaceful deck. Island Lake is the perfect location for an outdoor, mountain wedding. Amenities include yoga & exercise room, mountain lake, canoe rentals, guided discovery walks & adventure hikes, full service wellness spa & fine mountain dining. There are also Fly Fishing excursions & White Water Rafting on the nearby Elk River, as well as Mountain Biking & Golf outings in and around the town of Fernie, BC. The Resort can accommodate up to 60 guests overnight in 26 rooms. Our ceremony site, dining and reception areas can accommodate up to 100 guests. We have wireless internet throughout the lodges and a cell phone booster on site.
